I Stand With Israel, I Stand With Jews
Today was my first day in Israel in over a year. Yes, it's been a while since I last left, when yet another war had been unleashed by Muslim barbarians, at that time by Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, who took over Lebanon, destroyed its churches, Muslim-ized it, and turned a once-beautiful Christian country into a terrorist's heaven.
I arrived to Tel-Aviv this morning and took a car to the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. I walked through the old city and sat in an open restaurant watching beautiful men and women passing by, laughing and kissing. The most beautiful free people of a free country that always amazes me with its optimism and the ability to enjoy life. I came back to the hotel and wrote something like a manifesto, which was derived from my independence of thought, from my curiosity, from my many travels though the world, and through the many books I've read on history, on Islam, and on all the issues that are important to me.
I will call it, "I Stand With Israel, I Stand With Jews":
It makes no sense that all over the world there are hordes of protesters who march with rainbow flags and paint swastikas on the eyes and foreheads of Israeli leaders.
It makes no sense why the so-called Left is putting on the same level the stabbing by the Hasidic Jew of gay demonstrators at the pride parade in Jerusalem three years ago, to the thousands of decapitations, stonings and hangings that are a part of a daily life in the world of Islam.
It makes no sense that all over the world they boycott Israeli goods. They, who do not give a rat's ass about Palestinians but are just so anti-Semitic that they are happy to ally with the most ghastly ideology in the world.
It makes no sense that American President Jimmy Carter can write an anti-Semitic book comparing Israel to the Apartheid regime, criticizing Israelis for everything and Muslims for nothing.
It makes no sense that the president of Iran, who voted to nuke Israel and who denied the Holocaust, can be hosted by the United States and receive standing ovations at Columbia University (by probably the same students who did boycott my talk on safe sex because of my views on Islam).
It makes no sense that all over the world there are those who burn synagogues, urinate on their walls, and destroy Jewish cemeteries.
It makes no sense that they give the Nobel Prize to the likes of Yasser Arafat, this eternal ultra terrorist who authorized the killings of thousands and poisoned the minds of millions. Who taught kids how to become suicide bombers until his death in a FRENCH hospital. It doesn't make sense to me that after keeping his people in shit and sending all their financial aid directly to his Swiss accounts, he still remains a symbol of a revolutionary, a symbol of a peace fighter.
It makes no sense that film producers and directors all over the world make films and documentaries sympathizing with Muslims and bashing Israelis. That TV stations, from CNN to BBC, cry for Muslim deaths and downplay Israeli deaths and 50 years of Israeli struggle for surviving.
It makes no sense that world politicians, American ones included, are demanding the withdrawal of Israeli troops from territories that we gained through the wars that were started by Muslim countries in order to destroy Her.
It makes no sense that the world governments (the most ghastly and totalitarian included) are demanding a Palestinian state (read: a terrorist state), built next to the state of Israel.
It makes no sense to me that the world is pushing for Israel to negotiate with barbarians, to attempt dialogue with those whom dialogue is impossible and with which dialogue will only become a monologue.
It makes no sense to me that the world does not understand that no matter how much Israel will give, how much land She will give up, how many compromises She will make, Her neighbors will not stop with their demands until the only democracy in the region is pushed into the sea.
It makes no sense that the sheiks and oil bags of Saudi Arabia, who are sponsoring terrorists, are sleeping over in the White House, shaking hands and kissing with our politicians, presidents included.
It makes no sense to me that the world news media undermined the death tolls of Israelis, stating that more of them are killed daily in car accidents.
It makes no sense that more than 60 years after the end of the World War II and the Holocaust, Jews are still not able to get their money from Swiss banks and their properties that were stolen from them by European Nazis.
BUT... Let me be honest:
I also do not understand and cannot make sense of the Israeli patience, which I more and more see as a masochism which one day will bring the Israeli Jews to extermination.
I don't understand how Israelis can be so patient with their corrupted governments, presidents, and prime ministers, who are so incapable of protecting their people from suicide bombers, from deadly missiles, and from Katyusha rockets.
I don't understand how Israelis can tolerate a government that lets their enemies build their terrorist infrastructures right under their very eyes.
I don't understand how Israel can tolerate the useless "politicians" who betrayed their army—which was once so glorious and capable of defeating not one but six invading armies—to the point of losing the war with Hezbollah.
I don't understand how Israelis can allow the deeply anti-Semitic United Nations and European Union to push on Israel their ridiculous resolutions.
It makes no sense to me why the people who have been tortured for millenniums are now keeping their watchful eye on Europe—scared to be disapproved by it—and would not take their own security in their own hands (Are Israelis so naive to think that the world would ever appreciate Israel for any "right-doing"?).
It makes no sense why the State of Israel is not capable of making a decision of blowing away the barbarians that are plotting against Her and keep of no secret of wanting to erase Her from the world maps.
I stand with Israel, I stand with Jews, regardless of how I will be viewed in America where I live, and in Europe where I regularly work, and by friends and enemies alike.

Mr. Lucas,
You clearly feel strongly about Israel's need to fight for itself. So why aren't you fighting in the Israeli Army, instead of living your plush life in the bourgeois comfort of Manhattan?

I agree with you 100%.
Other things that I wonder every night when I read the headlines:
Why is it that almost every day the BBC World News or CNN or the Associated Press does extremely pro-palestinian press releases about every Palestinian who is killed or injured (even if they are terrorists or were killed because terrorists used them as human shields) and yet they almost never report the fact that katyusha rockets continue to rain down on Israel without cease?
Why does the United Nations and the much of the world seem to think that Israel has a responsibility to continue a peace process with the Palestinian government when that government continually violates agreements and continues to attack Israelis? What point is there in negotiating with a government that clearly cannot control its own citizens?
Does anyone truly believe that it will bring peace to hand over part of Jerusalem for a new Palestinian capital when every sign indicates that nothing will appease the Palestinians except for the the destruction of Israel.
Why is there suich an international uproar over the fact that Israel shut down its borders to the Gaza strip? Is it not enough that Israel handed over a land that had been turned into a virtual paradise by hard working farmers and settlers? Must Israel continue to feed it's enemies while providing them with medical care and infrastructure? Israel began as a barren desert. Men, women, and children worked with their bare hands to reclaim the desert and to turn it into a thriving country filled with modern cities and one of the most well-educated populations in the world. If Palestinians truly want their own country, why don't they begin with what they have been given and work to create it themselves, as Israel did? It seems as if they would prefer to simply take it from Israel rather than working for it themselves.

Dear Clyde,
For very simple reasons, sir. I can do more from America, using my celebrity platform and educating people. At the same time I don't have any illusions of trying to educate such an ignoramous as you.

Michael what a wonderful piece you have wrote on your visit to Israel. Though its been a few years since my visit I too think why not let this country and its rich heratige live in the peace it so deserves. My Mother's side would be so at peace knowing that Israel is forever and we will come home again one day.

in general a very balanced manifesto despite some small inconsistencies but again (like orianna falacci, bless her soul) great posting.
One thing to get to know israel one really has to live there for a longer period. It's a great country in whatever sense. The country changed a lot much for the better (gay rights) but there was also a "bad" influence (still going on) from the States and Russia...

Michael, this exposé is brilliant and devastatingly honest. Your ability to articulate these horrendous idiocies is astounding. Keep writing. Keep spreading your thoughts. Keep being Michael Lucas. As for the rest of you who disagree with Michael, certainly say so loudly & clearly. But then in the privacy of your mind, admit to yourselves the truths that he has espoused here. There are factual, quantifiable, and indisputable---not bigoted or belligerent. You may think of Michael Lucas as the greatest porn star of the past decade or two, but now you're seeing the brains and intellect of this courageous guy. And as for you, Clyde, with your comments about Mr. Lucas's "plush" Manhattan lifestyle, if you feel so empowered to pass judgment on a man who just put his own life on the line with an exposé of this magnitude, why don't you, too, offer something more than a snide little fart-shot from the dark and do something yourself to make the world a safer, finer place. What are you doing, Clyde, to make things better for us all, other than sniping from your keyboard?

I totally agree with you dear Michael Lucas.
We are living troubled times, I'm French and part Jewish (mother from Salonica) and I see it here in France. I can't stand the presence of all the increasing Islamic immigration which keeps increasing, with women with full veil now in the streets.
Let it be very clear though: I'm an atheist. I don't have anything against anybody's religion or beliefs, I respect all of them. I love Israel, its people, its culture, although I've never been there, I would truly love to go, but not as a Jew, just a tourist, just to see how it is there. I know its the only democracy, the only nation which is fighting for liberty in an area full of ignorance, barbarism, terrorism and hatred.
A few weeks ago, here in Paris, I went with a group of friends to a protest in support of Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She's a Somalian dissident who criticized Islam, and for that people sent her death threats. I went there not only to defend this courageous lady, but all those in these places that want democracy, liberty, human rights, that want peace above all and that want to fight totally and fully all the islamists/terrorists.
Israel can count on the friendship of France. We used to be great friends back in the 1950s, allies even during the Suez War of 1956. I think we should be again.
All Christians, All Jews, All Atheists, All Agnostics, All Secular people around the world should support Israel's right for existence, it's right to defend itself and its people. I stand too with Israel and I hope the EU changes its stance.

I'm proud that we both live in a country where it is possible to share unpopular opinions without fear of legal retribution. Would that it were so all over the world! When all other criteria are so easily manipulated and ignored by the press and the popular culture, I think that freedom to say what nobody else wants to hear is a fine basis for judging a society.

I agree with your comments. I really cannot understand our politicians who seem terrified of upsetting the 'muslims'. I am all for people being allowed to live in peace and respecting others views and beliefs. I have a problem though with respecting the beliefs of others whose only intent is to wipe me out and those who disagree with them.
I have never visited Israel, but after reading your post, this is something I would dearly love to do.

PS - I loved both of your movies - they were quite well done. In fact, I wish you would hire Johnny Davenport for 1 of your films. I am a huge fan of his

Hi Michael,
I am visiting in Israel now, returning to the States Monday. I read the interview with you and found it quite interesting that you refused to stay in the same room ad President Bush. By the way I used to work at the King David in the mid 80's.
I loved your comments on the Arabs. I never understood how left wing liberals support the Arabs who in turn have no respect for women, gays, free speech which is what all the liberals support.
Your'e the best,
Eddy.

i dont understand sir why you are generalizing ALL of the muslim world as savages, terrorists, here you complain about so much hatred though all i read from you is hatred and intolorance, can you be more specific? do you HATE all muslim people? i was raised a sufi,(the esoteric form of islam) and the way i was raised was to live by the values "love towards all and malice towards none", i can understand that there are alot in the islamic world who are close minded, but please for the love of God,peace and everything good that you believe in dont place 1.6 billion people in one catagory, as savages, terrorists, because it only makes you seem(with all do respect)ignorant and arrogant, judge the individual not the whole of the islamic world, peace and love to you:-)

You're wrong about the EU. Under EU rules, made by this so-called anti-semitic EU, Israel can trade with EU countries as if it is a member itself. Basically, Israel has the advantages of being an EU member, but not the disadvantages in terms of sovereignty and financial dues. (btw, the country responsible for Israel's favourable position is Germany.)
