Lucas PR: "Michael Lucas' Gigolo" now available for pre-order, set for November 27th release

"This is an epic porn film in the same dramatic vein as 'Dangerous Liaisons' and 'Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita," said Lucas Entertainment President and CEO Michael Lucas. "'Gigolo' is more like a real feature that just so happens to have hot sex in it. The plot is in-depth with much attention to the acting, the videography is beautiful, and as always it is a collective effort of many people, from fashion stylists to interior designers, cameramen to photographers, and models to non-sexual extras."
Directed by Lucas and Tony Dimarco—the team that won the Best Director GAYVN this year for "Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita"—"Michael Lucas' Gigolo" takes place in the dark, underground world of a New York City gigolo. Following the tragic death of his lover, ex-hustler Louis McMann (Michael Lucas) is thrust back into that sordid world in order to survive and gets caught in a web of deceit, lies... and murder. The film also stars Lucas exclusives Ray Star, Ben Andrews, Erik Grant, and J., as well as Anthony Marks, Arpad Miklos, Zack Randall, Jason Ridge, Jason Sparks, Lars Svenson, Scott Tanner, Jimmy Trips and Kurt Wild.
“Working on 'Gigolo' was an exciting prospect,” said Dimarco, who wrote the film's screenplay. “Creating a story that crosses an Upper West Side mentality with downtown street hustler culture was a great set up for contrast and styles. Working with a world renowned stylist (who also styled both 'Dangerous Liaisons' and 'Michael Lucas’ La Dolce Vita') to take 'street hustler' fashion an making it fashionable was lots of fun as well as a departure for us.”
“I had always wanted to make a film about male hustlers," continued Dimarco. "I think it’s intriguing for viewers to get a peek into this world. The sexual exchange between hustler and john can be highly erotic and hot. We hired some of the best models in the business who we thought could translate our vision of this story."
The film also features an original score by 2007 GAYVN Best Music award winners nekked and non-sexual performances from Lucas exclusive Spencer Quest and the film's production manager Joe Shepard in two roles (following his memorable role as the receptionist in "The Intern").

I know your stance on bb vids.So why are you using zach randell and tommy deluca in your vids. They both did bb vid. Tommy awhile back. Young and stupid so i can understand but zach has done them recently.Practice what you preach. I am a big fan and always respected you and your outspokeness.So make me proud again.

Dear Michael,
I want to explain to you that first of all, I do not watch bareback films and have no idea if the actors I hire have done bareback films before or not.
Secondly, I do not work as a policeman or prosecutor. I prefer to mind my own business. I do not preach, but when I am asked about my position on bareback films, I make it very clear that I do not want to film bareback movies, as I believe that sex should be safe. I recommend to anyone to have only safe sex, but at the end of the day, everyone will do exactly what he or she believes is right for them.

I just pre-ordered the DVD set and I am really looking forward to seeing it. Actually I look forward to all of your films, but your New York-set films are always my favorites, you really "get" this city.
By the way, I am really glad to see Arpad Miklos in one of your films again!

indeed Arpad miklos though not my kind of guy is hot throughout and is welcomed by me as well but where's jonathan vargas when i need him on my new flatscreen TV?

On the xxxgigolo blog there's a post about a scene with Ray Star and Noah Driver. However, it does not appear that this scene has bee included in the film.
Is that correct? If so, why? Thanks.
