05/15/07

8:00 AM -- Woke up.
8:30 AM -- Went for a run.
9:30 AM -- Hit the gym.
11:00 AM -- Came into the office.
12:00 PM -- Conference call with my lawyers.
2:00 PM -- Held a production meeting for "The Intern".
4:00 PM -- Went over my lines with Ben Andrews who came to the office with the tiniest dog I've ever seen, a Chihuahua named Pierre. I don't know the purpose of this dog—you might as well get a guinea pig. Or a gerbil. It's so tiny, it can fit in the palm of your hand. And it is constantly shivering.
6:00 PM -- Stopped by the Leslie/Lohman gallery for the opening of the show "Dark Ride" to see my friend Tony Dimarco's work "Sperm Engine" (he does artistic photography on the side). It sold for $1,200! There were about 25 different artists exhibiting their work. Among them were WilsonModels, Robert Richardson, and Joe Oppedisano, all of whom I've worked with before. Spencer Quest made an appearance there too. I haven't seen him since before he went into rehab. He looks great. After the show we grabbed some coffee, caught up, and took a cab home (his boyfriend lives across the street from me).
9:00 PM -- Met with my stylist for "The Intern," Darren Kinoshita, to go through the wardrobe for the film.
10:30 PM -- Watched a story on CNN on the death of Jerry Falwell. Larry King had by far the worst coverage of it and Al Sharpton had the most embarrassing appearance on the show. He said that though he didn't always agree with Falwell, he still felt he was one of the most sincere and honest people-loving souls. Can you believe that Al Sharpton said this about someone who was pro-apartheid? I mean really, I know that Sharpton's sister is a lesbian and during his candidacy for president he was pro-gay marriage, but I really can't stand this lying hypocrite. He has always been a racist and an anti-Semite—a real, shameless political prostitute of the worst kind.
12:00 AM -- Derrick Hanson finally arrived from San Francisco to my apartment (he was the model who missed his flight yesterday). I made his bed, gave him his script for the next day, and headed off to sleep.
