My thoughts about the awards
I wanted to tell everyone that I am very excited that my work was so highly appreciated by the gay media at the GayVN awards. It was really an amazing night for me and my company. It was awesome to be there with my co-workers and share the success of our film together. Kathy Griffin was incredible and hilarious and I had a great time hanging out with her backstage after the awards. These accolades have definitely inspired me to produce more great films as the recognition is very reassuring.
Seventy percent of the people left the show as my last award for Best Picture was announced, but as you can imagine for me it was simply a pleasure to observe it, as I do enjoy when people don't hide their feelings, whether in my favor or not. Thank you to the fans who gave me standing ovations from the balcony of the Castro Theater every time my company won an award. I love you all.
Below are some links to articles written about the show. Enjoy!

People walked out when you received the award? That's crazy! No one deserves an award more than you, Mr. Lucas. You're bringing an unprecedented standard of quality to gay adult entertainment and you are an uncompromising gay activist. Being gay is about politics, romance, sex and pride. You embody all these and you do it with style. No wonder people are jealous.
You are a class act and you deserve every award you receive.
