Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita Star Spotlight: Jason Ridge
Jason Ridge is wonderful, sweet, very sensitive, and charming. He's got one of the most beautiful faces in biz and I've wanted to work with Jason for years now. We had chatted over email several times before about working together, but he was under contract. He emailed me once again when he was able to work with me and the rest is history. I'm happy to say that he was everything I hoped he would be.
And now, Heather has her way with Jason for a little Q and A:
What interested you in working for Lucas Entertainment?
I've always respected Michael's work ethic and how he stood out from the crowd. I admired him from afar, waiting one day to work on one of his epic projects, so when I was asked, of course I couldn't say no. I actually grew my hair back just in case Lucas would want me for the upcoming project.
What was your experience working with Michael?
I have a much deeper respect for the man. You have to give him credit where credit is due. He has a vision and he sets forth to accomplish it. That is what I will carry with me for my future endeavors.
What attracted you to doing Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
I'm an actor first before sex and have had training as an actor. I wish larger roles would come my way in porn, and my character in Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita was a fun spirited guy who had everything except for true love. He was a player all the way to the end. I enjoyed dressing the part as well.
What did you like most about the experience?
I really liked being in New York and meeting all of the amazing cast and crew. I even formed some new friendships in the process.
What is your character?
My character's name is Nick Cameron, a very wealthy playboy type. Michael Lucas' character has been after me for a very long time, but I'm not the ready to settle down type and am just looking for the next hook up.
Describe your scene.
Most of the scene takes place at the end of the runway show and in the limo on the way back to Derrick's place for some hot action. This is Michael's opportunity to finally have sex with me through a three way and he gets what he wants.
What was your favorite moment while working on Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
Besides running around New York with Michael, I got the chance to spend some time with Tony who wrote the script and did the camera work. He is an amazing guy and an awesome new friend. Plus I just can't get over Jonathan Vargas.
How do you think this will impact your porn career?
It can only continue to bring good scripts my way and hot sex scenes.

Greetings from Count Chocula
Hey everyone,
Today I opened New York Magazine and I thought I would have a heart attack right at the news stand! Do I really look like Frankenstein? If not then those geniuses at New York magazine did a great job getting me ready for Halloween. My dog who is posing with me looks a thousand times better than I do! (click here to see for yourself)
I know it's fucking amazing, especially for a porn star, to be featured in such a prestigious magazine as New York Magazine. So yes, of course I should be shitting in my pants with pride. But let me tell you, I can't help but be disappointed in how this turned out.
Since I didn't get a chance to choose which pictures ended up in the magazine, here are some new ones that were taken last week.
Enjoy :)
Love,
Michael

Back in the Saddle again ...

So here I am, nearly 10 years since my first film for Lucas Entertainment, "Back in the Saddle".
Yes, I know I got a little carried away with Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita lately, but you know what? This is the biggest production I ever filmed, so trust me, I am going to talk about it for another month at least!
Of course a lot of things have happened aside from the movie. Let's do some catching up:

I didn't have any time to watch tv while shooting. When I actually turned it on, I realized the dead girl with the funny name, JonBenet, is dominating the news, making Iraq look like an unimportant little conflict happening somewhere in Mars. I turned the tv on once again a week later just to see the creepy Larry King talking to an even creepier guest, John Karr, calling it "His side of the story". Larry King dedicated the whole hour to a pedophile who wanted to be known for killing the innocent little stripper girl.
And now everyone is busy with Marc Foley. Gays are saying that he is a pedophile. Come on, he's really not. Those boys were way past their puberty. But this is not about him being gay, either. This is about him being another government hypocrite, as he set up a lot of strict and overbearing laws and regulations to restrict the adult industry.
The Foley story is getting even bigger than the story of the girl with the makeup which I mentioned before. And of course this whole thing is not good for our community. What should be pointed out is that 98% of this sort of behavior and sexual harassment happens between straight people. Women have been treated as Foley treated his pages for as long as women have had jobs. Some people are assholes and Foley should not be pointed to as an excuse to hate gay people.
And one other thing, who else would Foley hit on aside from these pages? Everyone at the white house is so fucking ugly! What with Cheney and Bush and the rest of them ...
The moral of the story is, don't shit where you eat, unless you are me. But that's my job.
So I didn't enjoy tv lately, but I love watching my clips on Youtube. Isn't it Barbara Streisand month? I know she is on tour. I was never a big fan before, but someone sent me this clip and I thought her voice was divine.

More recently, I enjoyed the HX anniversary cruise which was a really well done event. I came with some of my favorite people, Spencer Quest, Ben Andrews, other friends, and of course, Lady Bunny. On the way back from the cruise, we passed the windows at Chelsea piers. Bunny was banging every window where the guys were playing soccer, disturbing their game, screaming "I'm open!". We went to Beige later where she exchanged phone numbers with the beautiful big, tall, black ... toilet attendant.
This weekend I saw Spencer Quest in Naked Boys Singing. Spencer was so enjoyable to watch. He's really talented and it comes across on stage.
Ok, that's all for today. I hope you enjoy the latest teaser. It's a teaser because we are not finished editing and have not created the official trailer yet. Look out for a steamier XXX version along with something that highlights some more upbeat moments of the film. Some people have commented on the video clip's somber mood and the fact that I am the center of attention. Well, that's the storyline, just as in the original film. My character wonders through life, lonely, while everyone around him is happy and energetic. You'll just have to see it to get the point I guess. Neither this movie nor the ending will leave you feeling depressed. I promise it will satisfy you in all possible ways!

Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita Star Spotlight: Jonathan Vargas
Jonathan Vargas asked me for advice on what would be best for his career. I told him he had a nice body, but he would be great with at least 4-pack abs. He came back with 6 of them. He told me he went to the gym daily, was on a strict diet, and did lots of cardio. I respect models who have their act together- who ask questions, follow advice, are ambitious and have discipline. I signed him as a new Lucas exclusive immediately.

Photos by Joe Oppedisano for Lucas Entertainment
And now, Heather asks Jonathan some Q and A:
What interested you in working for Lucas Entertainment?
I have known about Lucas Entertainment because I purchased and watched some of their work before and enjoyed it. I went for casting and it made a lot of sense to me. It's a strong and popular company, plus it's based in New York. That worked out best since I go to school in NYC and I didn't want porn to interfere with my studies.
What was your experience working with Michael?
The experience has been amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect. What was important to me was that everyone on the crew tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible. Everyone was extremely polite and answered any question I had. My only complaint would be that there was no food after my scene because the crew ate it all! But next time we filmed I grabbed my food early and set it aside for later.
(Sorry Jonathan! We will try better next time!)
What attracted you to doing Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
Well, I had known about the movie for some time, but I wasn't originally cast. I made it in by a chance of luck- funny story actually ... It was NYC fashion week and Michael had spotted me at the BCBG show. He was so impressed by my determination to workout and get into shape that he sent me into the office and immediately cast me in the movie.
What did you like most about the experience?
The best thing about the whole experience was meeting all these amazing people, including people I've known about like Pete Ross and Jason Ridge. I have read their blogs for some time now and actually meeting them was exciting. They were so nice and so much fun to be around. I loved it!!!
What is your character?
I had the best part of all! I was Rick Arnold's (Pete Ross) date (a young trick)
Describe your scene.
Well, it was right after the fashion show and I decided to give Rick the goods. We head to his apartment to make out and the next thing you know, we are getting down and dirty.
Any funny or steamy stories from the set?
Funny stories, hmmmm.... We laughed and joked around a lot but nothing
really specific. It was funny getting hair and makeup touch ups while in the middle of a scene!
What was your favorite moment while working on Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
Besides the obvious, I would have to say the fashion shoot. It felt like I was doing fashion week all over again and I had a blast going to the shows.
How do you think this will impact your porn career?
The fact that my first movie ever is a high budget, over the top film should put my name out there. Tons of people are going to rush to see it and its great exposure for me. I do wish I had a little more experience, but overall I think it's going to be good. The only way to know for sure is to see where I am at a year from now :o)

Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita Star Spotlight: Ray Star

Photos by Joe Oppedisano for Lucas Entertainment
My exclusive model, Ray Star was perfect for his role in Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita! He pretty much played himself. Ray is a little rough and I've heard a little violent at times. He pulled off the bad boy persona quite well. That on top of him having obvious sex appeal and a big fat uncut cock made him a great addition to the cast. He also turned out to be a good actor, something I wasn't aware of beforehand. Overall, I was very happy I chose Ray to be part of the film.
And now, a few questions with Ray Star from Heather Reznor:
What interested you in working for Lucas Entertainment?
It's definitely one of the classiest, most professional porn companies on the market. Michael Lucas is not just quantity, he's quality.
What was your experience working with Michael?
Michael has an eye for great sexuality, he sees each of us as individuals, stars in our own right.
What attracted you to doing Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
I have always wanted to do a film of this magnitude and the experience was great. I am very pleased with the outcome after shooting all of the scenes.
What did you like most about the experience?
First, my character got to hit Michael Lucas, ha! Second, Tony Dimarco, the cameraman/videographer, is the best. Also, Savanna Samson, who played my girlfriend, was sexy and a pleasure to work with.
And of course, the sex was very hot ... thanks to my costars Brad Star and Michael Lucas.
What is your character?
My character is a lot like myself: badass sexual Colin Farrell type, a lot of attitude that says "don't fuck with me", but all I really want is some love ... even though I have no idea how to get it.
Any funny or steamy stories from the set?
It's hard to fuck with your make up artist touching you up when you're about to cum!!! Nothing is perfect, lol ...
What was your favorite moment while filming?
Fucking Brad Star. I have always wanted him and he's really hot to work with.
How do you think this movie will impact your porn career?
It can only get bigger and better.... from here on out. "No one tops Micheal Lucas!" He the best.
(Thank you, Ray)

Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita Star Spotlight: Jack Bond
Jack Bond makes a great addition to the cast of Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita. His rock hard body and delicious beefy ass combine well with his sophisticated English accent and gentlemanly disposition. Enjoy Jack's interview and sexy pics!

Photo by Joe Oppedisano for Lucas Entertainment
And now, a few questions from Heather Reznor:
What interested you in working for Lucas Entertainment?
A friend suggested working for Michael. The company makes quality films and the photography is great. Michael is very respectful towards the performers. Also the team at Lucas Entertainment are very warm and friendly. So the experience was good from the start, it is like a 'family' of sorts. No doubt there will be dysfunctional moments, but that is a part of very 'family'!
What attracted you to doing Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita is a 'Classic.' This was a film that was not just about sex, but attempts to put that in the context of a great narrative. This is a new career for me and I valued the experience being part of a big feature so soon.
What did you like most about the experience?
Tony DiMarco is a great videographer and wonderful to work with. I trust his creative eye, so you always feel you'll look good not matter what. And that means a lot when you are stark naked and everyone gets to see every bit you ... LOL.
What is your character?
I play Jack Bond, a fashion designer who has had a bad experience dealing with Michael's character's press stories about him, which have been scandalous. That and he has a hot bodyguard, Wilson, who he gets 'entangled' with, after my character gets annoyed being followed around by the bodyguard after a while.
Any funny or steamy stories from the set?
I now understand and appreciate how hard it is to say a simple line without laughing at the wrong moment, particularly when you have to repeat the words and actions, while attempting to pull down a guys pants on cue. There were a lot of those moments so apologies, guys!! I generally laugh a lot, so it is always a fun time ..for me. Oops (wink)! So long as everyone is having fun then that is what makes the shoot worth doing.
How do you think this will impact your porn career?
It is hard to assume what impact this film will have on my career. I think all performers are at the mercy of public perception. If the audience responds to an individual that is great. We all have our moment, we'll see if this is mine. But, more importantly the experience itself is what I value, the rest is in the hands of fate. And I trust that. Take each day has it comes and keep a smile on your face.

Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita Star Spotlight: Ben Andrews
Ben Andrews was working out very hard for almost 2 months before prodution started on our film. You can see the great progress he has made. His lean, beautiful muscles compliment his young, well endowed figure. Ben looked great on the runway and I think you'll agree that he could be a real model.
Heather will be asking the stars of Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita questions about their experience working on the film.
Here's our first inside look from Ben's point of view:

Photo by Joe Oppedisano for Lucas Entertainment
What attracted you to doing Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita is going to be the must see film of the year! Whoever would NOT be attracted to doing the film is insane. Michael went above and beyond with this one, and from what I've seen, it's gonna set a new standard for the way Gay porn is produced.
What did you like most about the experience?
I loved every second of the experience. From working with amazing photographer Joe Oppedisano to the runway show with Kevin Aviance to filming with Jack MacCarthy, every minute was amazing. It feels great to be a part of something as massive as this.
What is your character?
My character is a high fashion runway model walking in the J. Bond show. All of the models have three looks and at the finale of the show, Jack Bond takes my hand and pulls me backstage with him because I am his favorite model. [winks]
Describe your scene.
In my scene, Jack MacCarthy and I are both horny little model boys who think they can sneak a quickie in the bathroom before the start of the show, and because time flies when you're having fun, it's a photo finish to get our suits back in order and out onto the runway in time.
Any funny or steamy stories from the set?
Geez, I don't know if I should say this or not, but when I was devouring Jack's ass, he let out the tiniest squeek of a mouse fart right in my face. I was cracking up inside but had to keep a straight face! [laughs]
What was your favorite moment while working on Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita?
My favorite moment was definitely the whole fashion show experience. It's been a dream of mine forever now to take part in something like that, so to finally do it made for the best day of my life. Having 4 pairs of hands on you at once - one guy tying your shoes, a lady powdering your nose, a guy fixing your tie and another guy making sure your hair is runway ready leaves you with the most exhilarating feeling out there. Well, for me at least.
How do you think this will impact your porn career?
This film is going to impact the career of everyone associated with it. My career is taking flight right now and this film is just extra jet fuel in my porno plane. I applaud everybody involved with this film. See you at the premiere!

Michael's Mailbox: All American Hetero?

Here are some negative responses about me using Savanna Samson in the film that I wanted to address:
"Maybe i will change my mind when I see the scene in the film, but why not show homophobic Hollywood how glamorous a scene with Michael kissing and sweeping another man off his feet could be? And then Michael would not have had to offer us his slightly guilty explanation.""Interesting Page 6 mention today. On at least one other website, in reaction to that piece about the fountain scene, I read that this confirms what some people believe, which is you are ....secretly straight."
"All in the name of art? I don't think so Michael. You give women the impression they can overpower not only hetero but even gay men. That's a low!! Ew"
Well, if someone thinks I am straight, then I don't know what being gay is. Maybe I should've traded wardrobe with Savanna to be recognized as a gay man?
Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita is a movie with a storyline. It's not just porn, it's a real film and I can't create a real story with women absent from the picture. Can you imagine Brokeback Mountain with only men in it? I'm sorry but we all came out of the vagina and there's women in our lives whether you like it or not.
Gay people do love women. Why do you think that all the designers who dress women are gay? Why do you think the majority of the fashion world is gay? Why do you think the muses of all the famous gay photographers are women?
I want to make clear once again that there is no heterosexual action in my movie whatsoever. It's all hot, gorgeous, man on man sex. To those of you who think I am secretly straight- whatever that is supposed to mean- just watch the movie! I'd be really curious how straight you think I am after watching me with Spencer Quest for example. Find me one straight man who would eat another man's ass with that enthusiasm and you can call me Michael McPussyLover Lucas.
I am extremely thankful for the contribution Savanna Samson made to our film, and you should be too. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, professional, and possessing natural acting talent on camera, she is a very famous leading porn lady in the straight world. Her appearance as a straight adult star in a gay movie is the first crossover of its kind. And I'm sorry to break the news to some of you, but this is a straight world and heteros still largely dominate mainstream media. Savanna is an accomplished straight talent driving mainstream attention to a gay movie and we should thank her for that. Hell, in that respect she's like the Ang Lee of porn.

Days 11-15; A Whole Lot of Hot Sweaty Sex.
We shot a lot of sex scenes this weekend. On Friday Ben Andrews fucked Jack MacCarthy in a tight bathroom. Jack complained that he could hardly walk after he was ripped apart by Ben's huge dick!

Chad Hunt and Rod Barry paired up for an incredible scene. I was extremely happy with the way things turned out. I've known Rod for almost 10 years now and I can't believe I haven't used him before! He's really an amazing performer. Rod was usually a top over the years, but he took Chad Hunt like the real man he is. We filmed in the basement of Club Urge and he screamed so loud that people on the second floor could hear him. All of our "sextras" who filled the club were very happy to be there!

I paired together my two exclusives Wilson Vasquez and Jack Bond for the next scene. You may remember that Jack plays the fashion designer in the movie. Jack walks in the basement of the show with his bodyguard, played by Wilson Vasquez. And, well, this is what happened!

On Sunday, I had an INCREDIBLE scene with the gorgeous Justin Christopher. He's a really beautiful man, with German, American Indian and Spanish background. I pounded his hole so hard that Justin shot his load over his head! It's a great thing that we filmed on multiple cameras so we didn't miss it. I didn't go looking for where it landed, but that was one hell of a money shot.

And here's a picture from the final day of shooting at the sex club. There was an amazing orgy featuring Lucas Exclusive Erik Grant and Cole Ryan. Erik Grant bottomed for the first time for this film. Cole and Erik were so into each other that at one point Cole looked into Erik's eyes and blurted out "I love you". At this point everybody got very quiet but the cameras kept rolling. It doesn't really make sense for him to say that, so you'll probably find that in the DVD extras.
In the movie, Cole plays my boyfriend, but since I am not really his type, we don't have sex in the film. Tomorrow Cole has a scene with Chad Hunt. Let's see if he will fall in love again!
Finally, check out Lucas Exclusive Spencer Quest and his point of view on shooting for Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita. Click here for Spencer's blog. Thank you, Spencer, for your kind words!
Pre-book this movie today and you will get a free DVD! Click here for details.
