The faces of Israel

I have been to Israel many times for work and vacation. I've made many great friends there, as well as met some wonderful, intelligent, beautiful people.

Now those beautiful men stand on the front lines fighting terrorism not only for their own land, but for the whole free world.

My heart goes out to them.

Here are some pictures from past trips I have taken.

There's something I've always thought would be worth a try in the struggle against the Islamic countries.

Bombard them with porno tapes and DVDs!

That's right.

They are repressed, sexually repressed.

But the libido survives all repression.

And if the people suddenly have access to oodles of hot porn, some good percentage of them are going to want to try a lot more of what they see. And that will make them question the Imams and other doodoo heads who are keeping them repressed.

BEING A JEW...I AM EXTREMELY PROUD OF THESE MEN AND THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY OF ISRAEL. BEAUTIFUL MEN.

My heart to them too.
They are wonderful people.
Why all this hate toward them? What's the origin?

Thank you, Michael.

In answer to Francesco:

Anti-Jewish bigotry has primarily religious roots.

Christianity long directly accused "the Jews" of having killed Jesus. It was, of course, according to the various gospels, a Roman, Pontius Pilate, who gave to a crowd in Jerusalem the choice between having Barabbas or Jesus crucified. The crowd is said to have chosen Jesus, then known as "King of the Jews." Go figure. In any case, you wouldn't think that a Jewish person in the Amsterdam of 1600 should be held responsible for the decisions of a crowd in Jerusalem in the year 0. And Christians might have asked themselves "Why didn't Pilate just free both Jesus and Barabbas, or at least, spare both being crucified?" But many Christians saw things otherwise. It took many years after the Holocaust for the majority of Christian leaders to disavow those parts of the Bible and the Gospels that blame "the Jews" for Jesus' crucifixion. There are some still today who continue to do so.

Among Muslims, the source of the hatred is the Koran. You can't get 24 lines into that book without seeing this, apropos of all people who don't believe in Allah and the Koran: "Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering. And a mighty punishment awaits them."

To understand what all non-Muslims are up against in the contemporary world, one must read the Koran. It is a thoroughgoing brainwashing, establishing an "Us against them" mentality in the brainwashed. The Koran contains incitements to violence against non-Muslims. It tells Muslims that it is OK for them to verbally deceive non-Muslims, so long as they are doing it in the service of Islam.

The notion that Muslim hatred of Jews has its roots in the politics of the modern state of Israel is incorrect. The Muslims hated and persecuted Jews long before modern Israel was established. And they did so because the Koran told them to, and they were too jerky to question the Koran.

The Islamic penalty for a Muslim who decides to leave the religion is death. Does that sound like a group of people who will admit when it is wrong? You can go here to read testimonies from people who have been brave enough to denounce Islam, and what they have suffered because of it: http://www.faithfreedom.org/testimonials.htm Spread this around to your friends and family; the more people who know the truth about what Islam really is, the better.

As we Gays know, the irrational prejudice against Jews is not the only irrational prejudice in the world. We should have zero tolerance of intolerance. Any person who thinks their upbringing and education somehow left in their thinking any traces of any irrational prejudice whatsoever should do everything possible to eliminate the prejudices.

Michael, I just wanted to say TODAH RABAH! I recently went to Israel in Jan. and absolutely LOVED it (not to mention there is nothing hotter than is Israeli [especially if he is Jewish]) and with the recent tirade of images coming from the news media about Israel, it's great to see someone going BEYOND the conflict and showing the great nation it is (and with lots of hot guys :-D)

Michael - it's amazing to have such a prominent voice in the queer community speaking up for Israel. It's a shame that many queer-Jews hide their Jewish identities and are afraid to defend Israel in the community - especially when Israel is the only country that protects gay rights.
