Bushback Asshole
Towelroad reported Bush's response when asked if he'd seen BrokeBack Mountain.
This is what he said:
I hadn't seen it. I would be glad to talk about ranchin' but I haven't seen the movie... I've heard about it... I hope you go.. you know.. heh, heh.. I hope you go ... back to the ranch and the farm is what I was going to say... I hadn't seen it.
Ok, so it's offensive to him that someone even suggest that he might see a movie that has something to do with the ominous "gays"?
The man gets the opportunity to communicate the idea that homosexuals and their love stories are valid, and instead he mutters his usual irritating dribble. Asshole.

Hmmmm. Not sure what to do with that, seeing as how I am arabic.
What bothers me the most about this is that I actuallly have been using a towel. In my defense, no one ever told me that "Towel Head" was just an expression.
And on top of that, my mother still hasn't forgiven me for cutting up all of her Martha Stewart towels, can you imaging what she'll do when I ruin her sheets too?
I had no idea people were making fun of my race this much. Although, it does clear some things up for me. Like when my jewish friend Dave said I should try flying an airplane in to my ass, I now know he wasn't coming on to me.
Oh well.

The only thing that genuinely interests George W. Bush is maintaining his illicit grip on power. It's no surprise that, asked about "Brokeback Mountain," he gave a dumb-ass reply. Civil rights for gay people are dear to my heart, but are, alas, secondary to the way Bush and his policies are imperilling the country and the world. Can anybody explain why no Republican Senators and Congressmen are telling him that brakes are going to be put on him? That he refuses to release documents about his communications with his advisors during the Katrina emergency is expected but completely unacceptable, and that our other elected officials are not screaming on the rooftops about it is a disgrace.

Actually, James Schamus, the main producer of Brokeback, mentioned in a recent interview that a copy of the movie was requested by the White House and sent to them. So someone at 1600 Penn Ave has seen this film. And since the W didn't say how awful and vile the film was, well, maybe he's too afraid to say he actually liked it. Food for thought.
