Howard Stern Rocks, Subway Workers Suck.

Howard Stern had some big spectacle of a celebration today as he made his move to Sirius radio. It was nice to see this whole deal with my friend Lady Bunny and my PR Coordinator, Heather Reznor today. I remember doing his show a couple of years ago. I was the first gay male porn star to be invited. He asked me to show my dick, and commented that my dick soft looks much bigger than his when it is fully hard. Well, I do appreciate honesty in a man. Today his crew asked me if I think he is sexy. I am an honest guy myself, so I said "No."

On another note, Ladies and gentleman, let me tell you something: I live and work in New York City. And I am a little bit upset, actually- pissed off.

The first reason is that all these lazy fat ass transit workers, and you know how I hate the fatties ;) are blackmailing the city right around the holidays. Yes, I said blackmailing! And there is no better word for that. It is against the law to organize such a strike, but they are doing it anyway. That is because they have these fucking unions. Listen, I came from the USSR. I just cannot stand those communist institutions to begin with, but I completely despise them when they get so arrogant and think they can bully the whole city and ruin the fragile New York economy. Did I hear the number right, something like 400 million a day? Is that the bill that this bunch of chubby retards wants to present to the city? Someone should explain to them that we are not in France, where such strikes happen almost weekly (one day it's the garbage men, another, hospital workers). But the US is not a socialist country.

My second problem is that the city is negotiating with blackmailers. For what, to set a precendent for other union supported groups to strike tomorrow? What they would really have to do is fire every bitch and get new people ASAP.

Let me tell you right away, before you start writing your emails about these poor slaves of the rails and buses: These people have much better benefits than most Americans. They have amazing medical coverage, including full dental. How many of you have government paid dental plans? Paid holidays, and a very nice salary. So why do they go on strike? Because some politicians in this country do not have balls, and the unions know it.

Michael, Ok so this is not a comment about your entry about Stern (whom I LOVE) or the socialist subway system of NYC but rather HOW FUCKING HOT YOU ARE GETTING! You were always SMOKIN but lately you have really leaned up and looking AMAZING. MY QUESTION is this; can you PLEASE share in DETAIL (like you have time for this!) your new DIET and EXERCISE regiment! How long have you made the change and how quickly did you notice the results.

WE LOVE YOU IN SAN FRANCISCO!!! COME VISIT MORE!!!!

What is all this talk about a dental plan?

I always heard that when the tooth fairy cums in your mouth, you should swish it around with your pinkies raised in the air.

Bunny has such a radiant complexion; it'd be interesting to know if the gerbils have anything to do with it.

And what do you think Howard Stern would have done had you said he does look sexy?

Michael, I suspect Howard would let you fuck his ass if you said he's attractive. :-)

Otherwise, you're brave to show your cock. I think I have nice size (Hell! Str8 guys told me they are jealous of me!) but I do not think I have the balls to do in public!

Rock on Michael... I am in total accord with you about the fatties! The Bastards! We're getting a light rail system here in Phoenix and I suspect that the first strike will come the day after it opens. The Bastards are everywhere! But don't let that stop you from visiting our city...We have the Hottest Men! (uhhh except for you that is!) You really have the Hottest! Cheers and Happy HannaKwanzaChrismaka!!! P.S. You and Robin would make the most exquisite sexy looking children!

Regardless of what you think about the unions, you truly weaken your argument (such as it is) by using words like "fatties" and "retards" to describe the sum of all MTA employees. Some of those fat retards actually were quite heroic (or at least athletic) on 9/11, and some of them of course died on that day too. As for your statements about the fat paychecks the fatties pull in, you might consider the possibility that union members have, on the whole, better compensation packages than non-union members BECAUSE of their union efforts, not despite them. Would you discourage the horrendously paid Wal-Mart worker from forming a union, for example, because they might get too fat and too happy? Is it better to keep them down on the farm (or down on aisle 5) with no dental coverage and subsistence wages? I think not.

Come on, all this anti-union talk is all misinformed (as usual...). If you didn't own your own porn company, I think you would be most interested in unionization. A little review of the history shows that unionization is actually very good. The height of the US economy was in the 1950s when unionization was at it's peak. Unions allowed nonspecialized workers to actually work and get paid a wage that was able to give a decent living. Now unions are scraping by just to even stay alive. The MTA has it's problems but a $300 million surplus and "holiday" fares that do nothing to give struggling families the needed financial break they deserve. One last thing, unions are not communist and are actually a great buffer against communized economics as history has shown.

I'm angry at both the transit union and management. The workers do indeed have great compensation packages, and the constant mismanagement of the system by the higher ups continually puts them in situations where they have to make their rank and file angry in order to make ends meet.

To say that all unions are bad is like saying all gay men are limp-wristed florists. Are you a limp-wristed florist Michael? I don't think so. Yes, the transit union is abusing its authority, but the earlier point about Wal-Mart employees is right on the money. Those poor people are indentured servants and only a union, not the benevolence of the corporate officers, will give these people a better life.

What ignorant comments about unions. Unions have for the most part been very supportive of equal rights for gays. They have stood with us when the free-marketers were all for putting us all in jail. Instead of complaining about the great union benefits, the real question is why don't all folks have these benefits. THere is nothing communist or socialist about unions. Completely free markets are efficient, but don't confuse efficiency with concepts like fairness and justice. Unions guarantee that those concepts get addressed as well. OR did you think that things like paid vacations, the 40 hour work week, anti-child labor laws and health insureance were thought up by benevolent employers? Without unions, none of those things would exist, period. I'm glad unions exist, and I'm very disappointed to see someone who styles himself as a liberal/progressive bashing them.

Hey Michael, huge fan of your work but have to RESPECTFULLY disagree with you regarding the transit workers. Just because a law is in place doesn't mean it's correct. The law forbidding public employees from striking was put in place to weaken their bargaining position. Without the threat of them no longer providing service, what real reason does the government have for negotiating a fair contract with the workers? Let's be honest; the public by and large could careless what type of conditions these people work under as long as it doesn't interfere with us getting from point A to point B. They have to look out for themselves. Transit workers are in charge of safely transporting 7 million people on a daily basis. Any and every dreg of society can be found on the NYC bus and train system. We riders see these dregs only for our brief commute. Transit workers have to deal with them their entire shift day in and day out. Further, for what MOST public employees have to deal with in order to do their job, they deserve double the salary they receive. In a city where the average APARTMENT can now cost $1 Million, a yearly salary of $37,000 to $54,000 (max.) isn't a great deal of money. Thanks for allowing for dissenting opinions on your blog. Like I said, I'm a huge fan. Continued health, wealth and success to you in the coming year!

I agree that the union should not have gone on strike at the holidays. It was not fair and it was also, more pragmatically, terrible PR. But too many people (not just you, Michael) hate unions and bad-mouth them without realizing that without unions, all of us---and I mean all of us who work 9 to 5 jobs and depend on employer-provided healthcare and the minimum wage laws and etc.---would not only be much worse off, we'd be virtual slaves to big business. That's just a fact. It's probably also a fact that the unions are not what they used to be and are, like any institution, prone to corruption and abuse. But unions are something the Republicans would love to destroy...and for me, that alone is a good enough reason to support them. :0) Also, fat people rock. Without them, Michael, you would lose the vast majority of your porn audience.
