Condoms, Please.

So I finally got some leisure time and a chance to know more about beautiful Barcelona. Well, my god, the people of Barcelona are so fucked up! They open their shops and businesses at noon, then from 2-5pm nothing is open and it's Siesta time. They are all napping and I refuse to believe that Spaniards have special sleep needs. It's crazy. And when they do open some time after 5, they close again at 8, then eat a long dinner at 10, and party all through the night! At 2am the streets are filled with people. Partying is great, but at the expense of your economy. Work!

And my god, when they are open, they are slow as hell. Everyone walks, talks, and moves slowly. If you want to get a sandwich forget it. You've got to wait around for hours. And on top of that the people working in stores and restaurants are so rude- they have no sense of service. But there is a surprising fresh breath of air that's popping up on every corner in Barcelona- Starbucks! That's right- in America you'd like to escape them- but in Barcelona they are an oasis of friendly smiles and quick service. They do so well, I am amazed that local businesses haven't learned a thing or two from them. Barcelona people are so lazy- no wonder they haven't finished building La Sagrada Familia! When we were filming there was some construction next door, and a concern was raised as to the sound interfering with filming. I said like hell they'll actually be working! And sure enough, it wasn't a problem. And I am someone who has been to many countries and was born abroad, so don't give me any crap about American arrogance!

Ah yes, it is beautiful here and there are lovely people even though they are lazy, but they are also really silly. Among the grumpy faces are some very absurd attitudes. I love the film director, Almodovar, but the Spanish people think he's crazy. They think he's crazy because he captures the truth about them! I found myself in all sorts of strange Almodovar situations. One that stands out was when I went to the Pharmacy to buy condoms. I asked for condoms using my translation for "condoms please", and the whole store went quiet and nearby an old lady gasped. But suddenly they all opened up. Everyone was getting into the conversation. They started telling me which condoms the ladies prefer. Everyone was sharing all kinds of private things. One woman was telling me, "My sister uses this one a lot, and take it from my sister, she knows." Those who were looking down at first all of the sudden grew very curious about everyone's business.

Speaking of attitudes towards sex in Barcelona, many people live with their families for a while before moving out on their own. People don't have many private places to have sex. We stayed near the opera and there were so many 70 year old prostitutes everywhere. I never saw anything like it in my life! All these ladies only cost something like 5 dollars. And they just do it in the street. We were walking home one night and saw a woman taking her pants down and then a man just fucked her from behind, exclaiming how he loves this country.

Back to business. We did this second audition with these two Brazilians who were just waiting there very patiently to get fucked. Well when I jumped in and fucked the both of them they were such happy guys. They seemed just like kids on Christmas morning, but this Christmas didn't come early ;)

And today's scene from Encounters got hot hot hot! Milan really got everything from Michael Lucas, including his whole fist! Not that I like to talk in first person but it just sounds more giving that way.

Oh and I saw Dangerous Liaisons in a store here for 65 euros! Someone is really getting ripped off. That's like 85 dollars. Europeans- let me remind you to buy from our online store instead! Of course I didn't mind the sticker on the front calling it the best movie of 2005 . . .

Enjoy these great new pics from Barcelona.

I know that places of Spain are "special" and still have some old costumbres (like siesta). Spanish are rude also (I've studied at spanish catholic school), in some cases they speak (loud)first and think after about what they said. Remains of the Siglo de Oro, the Spaniard Empire, the largest empire in the world history when sun always shine...But there are good people too. The brazilian guys look nice and happy (like every brazilian), Bruce and Wilfried great as always. I've seen Edu Boxer too!I'm very curious about Barcelona Nights!

Sounds like you don't know Spain very well and ended up in the tourist hell that some places in every country can be. I found everyone I met to be very friendly and open. Siesta was kinda annoying but once you let yourself go and just flow with the rest of the people through the cities, it actually seems kinda smart since the day starts rather late and everyone is out rather late, you need a disco nap. I didn't go to a Starbucks because their coffee sucks and they like to support Likud and I'm surprised that someone like you, Michael, would want to support a political party that wants more control over your products.

Hi Michael,

I agree with you that service in Barcelona is way far from the service you get on the States. BUT,.... the rest of this you say are a bunch of common places and misunderstandings:

- We don't sleep siesta from 2pm to 5pm.
- We are not lazy. You may find some lazy people here as everywhere in the whole World.
- I don't see why you say EVERYBODY walks and talks slowly.

Maybe you had a bad day, week or month in Barcelona. But please do not generalize. It is like if I said that all americans are stupid, because his president is, or all Italians belong to the mafia, all russians are drunk, etc etc etc. I guess everybody knows it is NOT like that.

For being a well travelled person you appear to have too many prejudices.

Have fun, if you can, the rest of your stay over here in Barcelona!

Seems like a job for a Creator, or some other big-arse deity. We'll call it... PLANET LUCAS! Word.

I was in Barcelona two decades ago and while things may have changed, I don't recall any particular problems with laziness or the hours. I was there for New Years. I went to bed at 6AM and the streets were a mess. I woke up at noon and the city was spotless. You can't be lazy and accomlish that.

Middle photo of the Brazilian guy looks almost like Keanu Reeves! Yum.

Put two and two together. The people don't work from 2 to 5. They are condom experts. What do you suppose they are doing during the "siesta"? Spaniards do not have special sleep needs, but as I'm sure you discovered during filming, they do have special things to offer atop a mattress.

Your experience in the pharmacy suggests your doing a porno re-make of Almodovar's "Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown." I know where you can find some really hot "girls" for that one. Donate enough money towards the completion of Sagrada Familia and the priests will look the other way (or maybe not) while you're filming inside.

Why is that model's dickhead poking out from his yellow underwear? I wanted to see the whole thing.

I think it's just terrible that you found 70 year old prostitutes for $5. A word to the wise; offer them $2.50 and they'll take it every time.

David......I think you mean Wilfried Knight looks almost like Keanu Reeves. Wilfried is not Brazlilian. I believe he is French.
