Michael's Mailbox

michaelblogmail.jpgSo it’s time to answer some of your burning concerns. . .

As to my poor little darling, Jai Rodriguez, I have no personal conflict with Jai. Actually we are/were very friendly, but his hetero-fantasy rumors and that excruciatingly angelic magazine cover irritated the balls out of me. And some of your comments that "Jai in the Sky" was contradictory to "Hidden Hate" - sweethearts, I am no hypocrite. The real inconsistencies lie with Jai, who spreads rumors that he's straight, and then gives us such a feminine magazine cover that I swear you could smell his vagina while reading it. Not that I have any problem with feminine men. I embrace the diversity of the whole LGBT community, whether the boys are macho or otherwise. The problem with Jai’s covergirl stint isn’t the femme factor, it’s just way too cheesy.

As to "Hidden Hate"- well- that's just how I feel.

A lot of you were upset with me for my spelling mistakes. Please forgive the retarded immigrant. Thank you very much for helping to get his spelling skills straight. Oh yeah, just curious . . . how many languages do you guys speak?

A couple of you suggested that I stop writing all those nasty blog posts, and write nice, sweet entries. Well maybe you’re right. Perhaps LucasBlog could stand some flowers and kittens and maybe some happy little bunnies hopping around while we’re at it. One of you even suggested that I see a Broadway show and write about that. So I went and saw Wicked. Painful. However, the show did have the magical power to make me want to drive some Ruby Slippers through my beautiful head. I thought I would rather commit suicide than listen to another horrible aria. Now what I really enjoy is the Metropolitan Opera. Those ladies and gentlemen also bitch about crap like being in love and falling in love and dying for love, but at least they have great voices when they sing about it.

I also tried to watch a soap opera, Queer as Folk. Last night I was invited to a friend's party to watch the grand finale of the series. Atrocious. But I did learn something. I learned why I never watch the show. My porn guys can act just as bad, maybe better, than those losers in Queer as Folk - but without a doubt, they'll look better while doing it.

And hey guys, all the comments of me not respecting older people - I adore my grandparents who are in their 80s and my parents who are in their 50s. I have a sense of humour about myself. I am going to be 34 and will be in my 40s very soon. I hope I will still have a sense of humor then. Unfortunately, some of you have lost yours along the way.

Happy little blog entries would please anybody and everybody. But haven’t I pleasured enough people already?

Love

Michael

Oh. My. God. Michael, dahlink, your English (including your spelling) is unbelievably good. It blows me away that anyone could think otherwise. I dream I could write in Russian as well as you write in English. (I had a chance just last week, btw, to use my VERY limited Russian at a local (Eastern Canada) raspberry u-pick, where the gal who weighed my berries was originally from Moskva. She was delighted I picked up on her accent and spoke to her a bit in her mother tongue.)

If you ask me, people need to lighten up. And pick more raspberries.

"haven't I pleasured enough people already?"
Is that really your logic for being so negative about everything? I appreciate a sarcastic bitchy barb every now and then too, but your constant negativity is such buzzkill. I think it's sad the way you think that putting everyone and everything down makes you look better. It doesn't - it makes you look bitter.
You've got a lot going for you - your handsome, successful, and still young - for a couple more years anyway ; )
BTW, where were "all the comments about you not respecting older people?" I only saw one.

Michael,
You can say whatever you want. This IS your blog. I admire what you have done with your company, and hell, I wish I could work for Lucas Entertainment. I know a few models who would LOVE to appear in your videos.

I do admit Michael, I would rather watch your boys than the boys on Queer as Folk anyday. Keep up the great work! (PS Altough I am not one of the guys that corrected your spelling or grammer, I speak 3 languages)as well as some sign language (No, not the middle finger, either)

You know I stopped watching "Queer As Folk" after the second season. The writing and acting was pretty bad and I couldn't stomach it anymore. I try and support my gay brothers & sisters, but QAF wasn't worth giving up my Sunday nights for.

This one's off topic, but I was watching one of your "Fire Island" videos, I think #5. I loved watching Cameron Fox bottom. Will he be in any more of your videos? Just don't let him speak, it's enough to make me lose my hard-on.

Hey Michael. I just discovered your blog from a google search. I must admit I hadn't heard of you until I saw you on a HBO OnDemand viewing of "ThinkingXXX" You were the best thing about that show. Loved your interviews and sexy accent. Now, I love your blogs. Keep it up. I will be back to visit it often and read your thoughts(always with an sexy Russian accent.)

stumbled across this last week. i have to admit, i have not been a huge fan of yours in the past (nothing personal- i just wasn't...) but i bought auditions 4 the other day and it is one of the best porn movies i have ever seen- mainly for parker williams.
anyway- your blog entries are very insightful and- shock of all shocks- belie a very intelligent man. but i don't suppose you get to be extremely successful in life without a little smarts. of course, a sexy pout and huge cock don't hurt when your trade is fantasy, but i don't take anything away from your business acumen.
before this starts to read like one long back-handed compliment, let me make my point- i have begun to realize you're quite fantastic and i wish you all the best. don't worry about kittens purring and bunnies hopping by to please the masses- "full house" was a top ten show for several years and made bob saget a superstar. the masses are due for some payback.
love ya!

I cannot argue with that. English is not my first language and I get sick of people trying to correct or act like they're smarter than me or others in terms of language development. It is absurd.

Like you, some regarded me as nasty blogger. But I completely agreed with what you wrote -- blog where nobody will not touch. ;-)

Whatever! Your shit is fun-ny! ...that bit with the depends, classic. Who needs Jai anyway... his website crashes my browser.

Hey there Michael,

I haven't stopped by in a while and finally caught up on your blog. First let me say that you seem a bit angry these days and i must say good for you. Second, I agree with everything you said in the last 4 or 5 posts. Originally from Quebec, Canada, it must be our european flair that makes us see the world in a better color.

Keep it up, luv you and your mindset.

I don’t know how I found your blog. I do come back to read it fairly regularly. The reason being you say what you think.

It’s your blog. You may be blunt, so what? Isn’t that what blogging is about, being who you are?

As for the queens who have a problem with your blog. Get your own.

The Queer as Folk finale sucked, but that doesn't mean the whole show was like that.

I totally support the "agree to disagree" point of view. I have strong feelings on certain topics myself (bigots, hate mongers, religious fanatics, republicans...oh shit, that was redundant) and completely expect others to agree/disagree with my views. That's what makes life interesting kids...being able to choose your point of view.

There are times when I think Michael is being a shithead and other times when I think he's fucking brilliant. There are times when he makes me angry and times when he makes me laugh so hard I have to catch my breath. I'm just so happy that we have forums like this that force the reader to react. If you want nothing but warm, fuzzy feelings, go read some Blue Mountain Greeting Cards.
Thanks for stirring the pot Michael. Those of you who don't like what he's cooking here can go eat somewhere else...CHOICE...ain't it grand!!!

Hahahahaha....you crack me up Michael!

"Flowers and kittens and happy little bunnies"...That's too damn funny.

I think I'll pitch that to Chi-Chi...she'll get her make up guy to come in staple kitten and bunny ears to the actors after he paints them all cute with flowers.

As to the basic subject of the post:
"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - Albert Einstein

Pornstars are people too.
