Watching the news report from Tel Aviv about my Israeli films was amazing. This was an honored moment for me because this channel is the main news network in the nation. But there was something else in the broadcast that made me feel even more gratified. The entire country was watching and Jonathan Agassi’s mother stood proudly by her son, in full support of his career. I was moved by the love she showed and it was so nice to see Jonathan being incredibly moved by the words of his mother. You don’t have to speak Hebrew to understand—it’s all about the body language. You can see the presence of their strong love for each other. How fortunate Jonathan is to have such a mother to be so supportive—a beautiful person inside and out. It is her respect, courage, love, strength and support that give her son the stilts to walk tall.

I loved the report. Nice to see it was on channel 1, the national israeli television. I think putting english subtitles especially to the nice, even moving, part of Jonathan with his mom could allow others to enjoy it.
